After a four-year journey, Lewisham’s Planning Committee met on Thursday 16th October to review our proposals for the future of the shopping centre. We’re pleased to share that the committee voted in support of our plans - a significant milestone for the project.
This isn’t the final step in the planning process. The application will now be reviewed by the Mayor of London before Lewisham Council makes its final decision. Once approved, the next phase of work ahead of construction will begin.
We’re incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received so far. This development will help transform the town centre, and we’re committed to continuing our work with the community and our partners as we move forward.
Landsec has been part of Lewisham for over 20 years, and our proposals have been shaped by conversations with more than 3,000 local residents and workers.
We’re proud that the plans have been carefully phased to ensure the shopping centre remains open and trading throughout the regeneration - so people can continue to shop and enjoy the town centre as work progresses.
